Matt’s Monday event

Catching up on some uploads! Here’s a monday event from Dante awhile back

I’ve mentioned Fab Lab and this is Michael Parker, the wonderful professor who is teaching it this semester! Michael has a way of talking and leading that is really great. He never puts himself above anyone and makes sure we see him as an equal, which is rare. I have a lot of respect for him and absolutely love his teaching methods (super inspiring since I want to teach as well) He really gives you so much freedom as a student who is trying to figure out their practice. He is so dedicated in getting to know each of us and is always on top of it, as he keeps in touch with us through out the week via email and studio visits. I’m so glad I had the opportunity to take a class with him because his kindness and knowledge is so valuable. Michael is interviewing to become a full time professor in the program and I wish him luck because we would be very fortunate to have more professors like him.
